The group went global with Deutsche Welle at the 2012 Global Media Forum where we learned how to shape the world by improving education and creating a move sustainable environment through the global media. The SABINA kids attended lectures throughout the day hosted by noted journalists and experts from all over the world. The lectures included topics about globalization, education, and the role we can play to enhance the quality of life across this planet.
Afterwards, Deutsche Welle treated us to a cruise down the Rhine River where we were able to get to know some of the people we heard speak that day. It was a great experience and the group enjoyed getting to meet people from all over the world. The group concluded the evening with dancing and live music and celebrated the opportunity to truly go global. Deutsche Welle was even lucky enough to have video evidence of the group having a great time on the dance floor:
